Twas The Night After Thanksgiving!
TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING! Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep The leftovers beckoned - the Dark meat and white But I fought the temptation with all of my might. Tossing and turning with anticipation The thought of a snack became infatuation. So I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door and Gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore. I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes, Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes. I felt myself swelling so plump and so round, Til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground. I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie. But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees... Happy eating to all, pass the cranberries, please. May your stuffing be tasty. May your turkey be plump. May your potatoes ' n gravy have nary a lump. May your yams be delicious. May your pies take the prize. May your Thanksgiving dinner stay off of your thighs. MAY YOU ALL HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING!

You Kill Me! You Really Kill Me!
You have got to be published!! Especially this poem! And somehow (though it can't be possible) I have a feeling you just whipped this up. You had an idea, felt inspired, ran with it and ended up with this side-splitting, comical and dam witty poem! Jealous? Me? I would be if I wasn't so full of pride! Hope you printed this poem out and posted it in the canteen for all to enjoy.

Corrina: Just saw your picture in the Image Gallery from the HMCS Ottawa site (page 3 of the all images) Your smile is wonderful and so reassuring to see. Miss you kid and seeing how long your hair is I realize how long since I last saw you. ;o(

Corrina,
Well we finally celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday. The house was full, 18 people in total, it all went very well. At the sametime we also celebrated Kristy's and my Mom's birthday so needless to say the wine was flowing. A good time was had by all. Miss you and look forward to reading all about your adventure.

It’s quiet on your blog… I know you have to do what you have to do, but still…
Okay, I’ve got to admit, I miss your tales.
Like others, I’d like to read your stories too, they are wonderful. Also the comments, friends and family gave in return in hope to support you.
In The Netherlands everything is fine, after a tropical summer, followed by august in tropical rains, we have a beautiful fall. Temperatures are between 15 and 20 °C and most of the day’s are sunny. Even the trees are getting a wonderful fall color, which is not so common for us.
I’m guessing, you’re somewhere around the Indonesian archipel (?), and I hope you have some nice views from the ocean over the islands.
Hope also that the pirates don’t cause too much trouble, but knowing all the arms on the ship, it would be a big mistake.

and then on image gallery and you can see pictures of Corrina! The last one is a group picture on their ship in singapore. It is not easy to see her...but I believe I have found Waldo - I mean Corrina!
Okay - From front sitting row left move in right to 3rd person, behind her is a large man with moustache & arms crossed. Jusr over his right (look left) shoulder is Corrina's "good side" good because we can see it.
